Susan graduated with her B.A. in Economics (Dean’s List) from York University. She was one of the first Canadians to achieve the Canadian CEBS designation. Susan was the first Canadian to achieve the Fellowship status in the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. (ISCEBS).

Susan earned her HIA (American Health Insurance Associate) designation. She graduated from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, Institute of Corporate Directors with the ICD.D designation signifying understanding of best practices in board governance and management oversight

Susan is an industry expert in matters of plan design , funding and board governance. She has helped countless organizations achieve better performance by motivating them towards best practices scaled to their resources.

Susan has held or holds positions with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (FEBP) including Board and Committee Chair. She is a Director of the IFEBP.

Susan served as the Chair of the World Pension Alliance (WPA) a global organization with members in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia and South America representing over $10 trillion USD and 400 million plan participants.

Susan also serves as a volunteer board member for community-based organizations.
